I happen to be somewhere over Nevada while writing this. (At forty-one thousand feet, to be exact!) I love flying. The sun is really bright and warm on my face. :) God knows I feel so much closer to Him while being above everything. Not to mention, the sun, sky, and clouds could keep me in awe for hours. I have been taking pictures like crazy. See? :)

Beautiful, huh? :)

I just opened up to these scriptures, in the book of Job:

“Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him;
Nor can the number of His days be discovered.
For he draws up drops of water,
Which distill as rain from the mist,
Which the clouds drop down
And pour abundantly on man.
Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds,
The thunder from His canopy?
Look, He scatters His light upon it,
And covers the depths of the sea…
He covers His hands with lightning,
And commands it to strike.
His thunder declares it…
At this also my heart trembles,
And leaps from its place.
Hear attentively the thunder of His voice,
And the rumbling that comes from His mouth.
He sends it forth under the whole heaven,
His lightning to the ends of the earth.
After it a voice roars;
He thunders with His majestic voice,
And He does not resrain them when His voice is heard.
God thunders marvelously with His voice;
He does great things which we cannot comprehend.
For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’;
Likewise the the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength…
From the chamber of the south comes the whirlwind,
And cold from the scattering winds of the north.
By the breath of God ice is given,
And the broad waters are frozen.
Also with moisture He saturates the thick clouds;
He scatters His bright clouds;
And they swirl about, being turned by His guidance,
That they may do whatever He commands them.
On the face of the whole earth.
He causes it to come,
Whether for correction,
Or for His land,
Or for mercy.”

-Job 36:26-37:13

I’m also worshiping the Lord right now, listening to “Revelation Song” by Kari Jobe on my iPod. I could seriously cry. It goes something like this.

I have never felt more alive.

While being in flight, looking down at the ground and everything else below… it makes me realize how insignificant we really are… yet us humans think we’re super-special and important. It really puts life into perspective when we compare ourselves to God. We think we run the world! It can be a very humbling experience once one realizes exactly how powerful, almighty, and sovereign God really is. And even then, we can’t really begin to fathom His greatness entirely! I’m just so thankful that I’m closer to Him now than I have ever been in my entire life. It’s amazing when you know that you have the CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE on your side, holding you in the palm of His hand! :) Praise God, huh? I hope all of you have experienced that. :)

I’ll probably be in L.A. in about an hour, I’m guessing. I don’t have anyone to pick me up. I’m gonna wing it. I love flying by the seat of my pants, and not knowing what’s going to happen from one hour to the next. “Life’s an adventure!” That’s what Michelle and I like to say, anyway. ;)

I moved to Salt Lake City about five months ago. God called me out there to be a missionary to the Mormons, and anyone else who needs Jesus and hasn’t received His gift yet. So much has happened in my life. So much has changed! I’ve neglected to keep everyone posted, and for that, please accept my apologies. I will be making a real update very, very soon. The main reason for me posting today was to tell everyone that I’m going to be in California for the next week and a half, and I would LOVE more than ANYTHING to be able to fellowship with any and all of you, and be able to share what God is doing! Like I said… so much has happened. You will be amazed.

I will be in town from June 13th, until Tuesday, June 23rd. I’m also throwing myself a belated birthday dinner next weekend, on Friday the 19th, at approximately 8:00 PM. I would love for you guys to attend so I can see all of you before I go back. If you’re thinking about coming, e-mail me back or text me at 310-961-7237. My number still hasn’t changed, but just might sometime soon! :)

I’m missing Salt Lake City already. I have never felt more right about anything in my entire life.

Grace, Peace, and Blessings to all of my brothers and sisters in the Lord… and to those of you who don’t yet know Him…. well… the key word is yet. ;)

For the Kingdom,
Meaghan
